Leicester City Council wishes to appoint a Supplier to provide Chair and Author services for a Domestic Homicide Review (DHR) recently opened in Leicester.

The Authority is particularly interested in applications from people who identify as Asian/British Asian, or with significant knowledge and experience of working with domestic abuse within these communities, due to the ethnicity of those involved for the current requirement.

• The cost template you are required to fill in to illustrate your capped cost, including your hourly, day and half day rates.

From the historical information available to us, the review work for Chair and Author services generally takes 10-14 days in total.

We will evaluate price based on total maximum spend (capped cost), and only pay for work completed. We support with administration of the process.

Specific requirements you will need to evidence to secure the contract include:

• Proof of required insurance levels;

• Proof of recent data protection training;

• Statement of your independence from the Safer Leicester Partnership and the agencies that constitute these;

• Statement of your experience, skills, and knowledge relevant to this role;

• Confirmation that you have completed the Home Office DHR Chair e-training;

• Satisfactory related reference pertinent to the immediate requirement.
